Through the Convert Care Fund, the New Zealand Zakat Foundation ensures that every new Muslim is welcomed not only with words of congratulations, but with real, practical support that helps them start their journey with stability and confidence.
What We Do
The Convert Care Fund provides both financial and community support for those who have recently accepted Islam and are facing hardship or isolation.
Each case is assessed individually to understand their unique needs and ensure assistance is given with dignity and sensitivity.
Support may include:
- Temporary financial aid for housing, food, or basic essentials
- Clothing, prayer materials, and Islamic learning resources
- Connection to mentors and community networks
- Support in finding employment, education, or further guidance
