The New Zealand Zakat Foundation’s Scholarship Fund exists to remove those barriers.
Through your Zakat and Sadaqah, we support students who demonstrate both financial need and genuine commitment to learning — ensuring that potential is never wasted simply because of circumstance.
What We Do
Our Scholarship Fund provides financial support for tertiary, vocational, and Islamic studies to eligible students across New Zealand. Each application is carefully assessed for both need and merit, ensuring your donations reach those who will use their education to strengthen our Ummah.
Support may include:
- Tuition fees or essential study costs
- Course materials and equipment
- Transportation or accommodation assistance
- Support for students of Islamic knowledge (ṭalabat al-ʿilm)
